Bomburu ella. බෝම්බුරු ඇල්ල

බෝම්බුරු-ඇල්ල දිය ඇල්ල (පේරවැල්ල  ඇල්ල ලෙසද හැඳින්වේ) යනු ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ පුළුල්ම දිය ඇල්ලයි. එය මීටර් 50 ක් (අඩි 165 ක්) උසින් යුක්ත වන අතර එය නුවර එලිය දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ පිහිටා ඇත. එය නුවර එලිය හි වඩාත් ආකර්ශනීය දිය ඇල්ලයි. ඔබ දිය ඇල්ලට ළඟාවීම සඳහා නැගීම ආරම්භ කරන ගම දක්වා මාර්ගය හොඳ තත්ත්වයේ පවතී.

දිය ඇල්ල ආසන්නයටම යාම සදහා කුඩා කදු කිහිපයක් තරනය කිරීම අවශ්‍ය වේ, නමුත් විශ්මයජනක දර්ශන සහ සිසිල් කාලගුණය ඔබටකිසිසේත් වෙහෙසක් දනවන්නේ නැත. ඔබ මුදුනට පැමිණි පසු දිය ඇල්ල චමත්කාර ලෙස දිස්වෙයි.මෙමස්ථානයේ කඳවුරු බැඳීම ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අදාළ රජයේ බලධාරීන් විසින් තහනම් කර ඇත. 

කුඩා නැගීමේ ආරම්භක ස්ථානයේ ප්‍රමාණවත් වාහන නැවැත්වීමේ ඉඩකඩද පවතියි. 

බෝම්බුරු ඇල්ලේ ජලය එම ප්‍රදේශයේ විදුලි බලාගාරයකට හරවා ඇති අතර වගා කටයුතු සඳහා ද යොදාගෙන ඇත

දුර: නුවර එලිය නගරයේ සිට කි.මී. 14 ක් සහ මිනිත්තු 26 ක් පමණ. ඔබ නුවර එලිය- වැලිමඩ පාරෙන් පැමිණ රේන්දපොල හන්දියෙන්වමට හැරවිය යුතුය.

නැතිනම් වැලිමඩ උඩුහාවර මාර්ගෙයන්ද ඇල්ලට ලගාවිය හැකියි. 

පරිසරය ආරක්ශා කිරීම ඔබගේත් මගේත් යුතුකමයි.

Bomburu-Ella falls (also known as Perawella falls) is the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka. It is 50 Meters (165 feet) high and situated in Nuwara Eliya district. Its one of the most amazing waterfall in Nuwara Eliya. The road is in good condition up to the village where you start the mini hike to reach the waterfall.

The walk to the waterfall base requires a bit of a mini hike and climb, But the breathtaking views and the cool weather prevents you from feeling any tiredness at all. Once you reach the top, the waterfall is magnificent. You can rest, have a picnic and take a bath if you wish. Camping at this location is prohibited by the relevant government authorities of Sri Lanka.

There were enough parking spaces also at the starting point of the mini hike

Waters of Bomburu Ella has been diverted to a powerhouse in that area and also for cultivation purposes

Distance: From Nuwara Eliya Town 14KM & Approximately 26 Minutes. You have to come along in Nuwara Eliya – Welimada road and turn left from Rendapola junction
